Lendlease had an opportunity to tender for a contract to deliver NBN cable, dishes and switch boxes to residential premises but only if they could overcome a serious working at height safety risk. The homes and verandas were old and a real risk of technicians falling through old roofs while installing needed to be addressed

A partnership with Branach developed, where listening and sharing ideas began the design process, followed by prototypes, field trials and redesign. A modular system was designed with a walk through hoop that the worker attached to while on the roof to control a fall, if required. Lend lease won the contract and we continue to enjoy a great partnership.
