In June 2007, Victoria was in the grip of the 'Millennium Drought'. Construction and commissioning of the desalination plant was completed in late 2012.

Due to the nature of the build and the safety priority, Branach products were specified to be used on site. With over 400 Branach fiberglass platforms on site the desal plant was in safe hands.
